Our story begins in 2013. We met at the British Columbia Institute of Technology while completing our Certificates of Interior Design. We quickly became friends and spent countless nights together in the drafting studio. For a while there, we saw more of each other than our own families.

 

After completing her certificate, Natalie went on to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. She gained invaluable knowledge and attributes her success to the many wonderful teachers whom she had the privilege of learning from. Since graduation Natalie has gained industry experience in the commercial design world.

 

Cailyn went on to start a career in the lighting industry. She has built many lasting connections while also learning the ins and outs of residential and commercial lighting. Cailyn has also dabbled in residential design work since graduation and loves building deep connections with clients.

 

Our hope in launching Blanche Design Co. is to approach Interior Design in a fun and meaningful way. We believe that Interior Design is the enhancement of everyday life and should reflect your personality. Interior Design should be functional, comfortable and timeless. It should showcase the inherent beauty of each and every material used and should be cohesive as a whole. If executed correctly, Interior Design should inspire a beautiful life.
